In Support to National Economy Korek Participates in Kirkuk International Fair

As always Korek plays a vital role in sponsoring and supporting various economic activities and events. Korek Telecom participated in the second round of the Kirkuk International Fair started from 19 to 21 February, 2015.

The regional commercial manager of Korek in Kirkuk, Mr. Nuradin Zangana, expressed with enthusiasm for Korek’s participation in Kirkuk International Fair. He said that "Korek is proud to be the sponsor of this international economic exhibition, where many Iraqi and foreign companies are attending”. He also added “these sponsorships corresponds with the company's growing efforts to build and expand its network and towers to cover every spot of Iraq. Korek wants to make sure of providing the best services to meet the needs of its subscribers and to go on parallel with the developments in Iraqi market in the field of communications”.

Korek participated as diamond sponsor in this exhibition, and it has allocated a large booth to have enough space for the crowded audience. That is to be able to offer its services for the visitors from individuals, governmental employees and companies’ representatives. Every year Korek’s booth in this fair receives a large number of visitors to get information about its services and familiarize themselves with its offers and new lines, which proven to be very popular among citizens.

Mr. Nuradin Zangana concluded his speech by saying:" this sponsorship considers being part of the company's strategy to support all aspects of Iraqi society mainly the economic and social growth of the country. Korek has been contributing in sponsoring many social, cultural and humanitarian activities. Korek also played an excellent role in humanitarian activities both in national and international humanitarian levels. Recently Korek expanded its supports to internally displaced persons in different parts of the country to help them with their struggles against the current crisis in Iraq".
